Hello from Nairobi.
It’s now Monday evening and I arrived just two days ago after a very long flight. I never realized how uncomfortable airline seats were before – then again, I’ve never traveled 13 1/2 hours before either…! And, please, will someone tell me how those audio earphones fit over your ears?? It’s at times like that, that I remember how rarely I have traveled.
But – I’m here – safe and sound and very content. Nairobi is an amazing city. In many ways, like perhaps many others. But, in others, unique I’m sure. There are many stories I could tell, pictures I could paint and thoughts I’ve been having. But I don’t even know where to start.

So – I just wrote 3 beautiful, eloquent paragraphs – tried to re-format them – and lost it all So – all you get now is my final closing thoughts. I promise more later…!!

There’s more I could add I’m sure – but for tonight I just wanted you all to know that I’m here and I’m loving every minute. (sorry Craig!)
For those of you who have been praying along with me, I am happy to report that our prayers have been answered and I was successfully able to exchange my ticket. That means my trip to Zambia will be possible. I now return on Sunday night the 30th of August – just in time to be back to work!! Thanks for your prayers – I knew I shouldn’t worry, but just trust. My Swahili phrase of the day – akuna matata. (Luckily I knew that before I arrived, thanks to Disney!!)
Until the next time……Cathy
