Thank you for joining me on my adventure! I hope I won’t disappoint and that reading this will be time well spent.
One week in – and I think a little reality check about this blog of mine might be in order.
I am seeing and experiencing more than I could ever hope to blog about. And the issues are so complex, the implications so far-reaching. All I can hope to do is share some of my impressions with you – and I hope to do that regularly.
I will try to post each Wednesday, giving you all an update on my week’s adventures. And for those of you who want more, but in shorter doses, check out mrsfairley.com. That blog is my first priority – and, for those of you with short attention spans it may be just about perfect!!
But this blog will serve a crucial function for me as well. After the first month, I will be on my own at Home of Grace. Writing to you will be my way of processing much of what I see and do. So I will include longer more reflective entries from time to time. It is my prayer that as you read, your eyes will be opened even just a little more to this world – the world that I am having the privilege of joining, even for a brief time.
So thank you in advance for being my partner in this journey! I will do my best to blog regularly – for your sake and for mine…
